Assistant General Manager West Basin Municipal Water District Carson, California

Serving nearly one million customers in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, the West Basin Municipal Water District is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee the District’s day-to-day operations and an aggressive capital project program. Headquartered in Carson, this wholesale water agency is the sixth largest water district in California.

The Assistant General Manager will be an experienced manager in the water utility industry with extensive people and capital project management experience. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of wholesale water operations, recycled water and ocean-water desalination. He/she will be an effective manager of people who is skilled at maintaining strong teams and has a history of enforcing high performance standards. A strong background in civil engineering or related experience, and a Bachelor’s degree is required.
