Free Art Lessons for Your Classroom!

Reserve a date to invite a West Basin scientist and artist into your classroom to support your students' S.T.E.A.M. efforts.  Our guest speaker will work with each teacher to develop a one to two hour presentation to support your classroom curriculum and Common Core or NGSS needs.  Topics can include the science of water, California history of water delivery systems, water conservation, or current water issues to name a few. Students will also be introduced to West Basin's annual Water is Life Art Contest and practice simple art techniques to help them create effective art contest entries.  Some art supplies and materials will be supplied.

This free program will be offered from October 2017 through March 2018.  Reserve your art lesson date by completing and submitting this form...
