This program is designed for 3rd - 5th grade students. Splash Science introduces students to the Southern California water supply, West Basin's water conservation efforts and the marine animals that are protected by such efforts.
From October - February, Splash Science is a field trip program transporting students to West Basin's Water Education Center and Ocean-Water Desalination Demonstration Facility located in Redondo Beach (complimentary school bus provided). From February - June, Splash Science changes into a traveling classroom program that can visit your campus. Splash Science is aligned to support Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
Program reservations for the 2015-2016 school year will begin on August 24, 2015.
