Green Team

Providing a safe and reliable water supply for the region means promoting water conservation and environmental awareness. But West Basin Municipal Water District knows to truly impact its community means more than promotion. It also means participating.

To promote smart energy and water use around the office, several West Basin staff members formed the Green Team, which will find ways to make the office more environmentally friendly. This includes researching facts and statistics, developing alternatives to current office practices and implementing strategies that cut back on waste products and inefficient energy and water use around the office.
