Water Education Center and Desalination Tour

  Visit West Basin's Water Education Center in Redondo Beach to learn about Southern California's water supplies and what West Basin is doing to make our water more reliable. Tour includes an overview of imported water supplies, water use efficiency, recycled water, and a first-hand look at ocean-water desalination. A taste test is offered at the end of the tour.

Water Recycling Facility Tours - Edward C. Little
- Date: January 14 Time: 9:30am
  
  Visit the only agency in the world that produces 5 types of customer designed waters out of treated sewer water. The Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo takes 30 million gallons of treated sewer water every day, diverts it from going to the ocean, and turns it into usable, recycled water for West Basin's customers.
  
  Closed toe shoes MUST be worn.
  
  Hard Hats will be provided.
  
  Extra caution is encouraged, as the plant is undergoing its 5th Phase of contruction.
  
  Children must be at least 7 years old or in 3rd grade.
