We offer FREE tours of the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility to the public on the Second Saturday of Each Month starting at 9:30am.  

Located at 1935 S. Hughes Way (near Sepulveda) in beautiful El Segundo, Calif.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How early should I make my reservation?
As early as you can! Spots fill up quickly, so make your reservation as early as possible to ensure you get your choice.

What is the address of the plant?
1935 South Hughes Way (at Allied Way) 1 block from Sepulveda). Click here for a map to the facility.  

Is there available parking?
Yes, there is a parking lot in front of the building. Parking is free.

Where do I meet for the tour?
Tour participants will meet in the front lobby of the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility, and the tour will begin promptly at 9:30a.m.

How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts approximately two hours. Tour lengths depend on questions from the participants, and as always, we value and appreciate your questions and comments.

Can I bring food or drinks?
No. There will, however, be light snacks provided inside the classroom in the morning.

Can I bring my children along?
Yes, as long as they are at least the required age of 7 or 3rd grade. Our facilities cannot accommodate young children.

Can I schedule a large group of kids/students?
If you have a large group of kids/students, you will need to schedule a special tour, possibly on a weekday. To do that, please call West Basin at (310) 217-2411.

What is the dress code?
ALL participants must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals, high heels or flip flops) and be prepared and comfortable to walk up and down stairs for a part of the tour.
