Welcome to the West Basin Conservation section! Here, residents and businesses in our service area will find many ways to save water.
Faced with future water supply shortages, West Basin has implemented its Water Reliability 2020 program to reduce our dependence on imported water. Part of this program includes doubling our conservation or water efficiency measures, from 1 billion to 2 billion gallons of water by 2020.
Everyone can do their part by conserving at least 20 gallons per day. From turning off the faucet while brushing your teeth or shaving, to replacing turf in your yard with drought-tolerant landscaping, there is a range of conservation activities that will help everyone be more efficient with their water use.
