Water Treatment Facility Field Trips

In order to help protect our communities from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), West Basin is postponing all District events, classes, and community programs through April 30 and until further notice. For questions about school education programs and tours, please contact Janel Ancayan at JanelA@westbasin.org.

West Basin is offering resources to teachers and families looking to bridge the gap between in-person instruction and distance learning due to COVID-19 closures. Resources are available at the Games & Classroom Resources page.

This free field trip experience includes a complimentary school bus for public and private schools located in the West Basin service area. Students will visit the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo and the Roundhouse Aquarium in Manhattan Beach where they learn about the water cycle, West Basin’s state-of-the-art water recycling process and water conservation efforts that protect local marine animals.
