S.T.E.A.M. Activity Supply List

Prep your S.T.E.AM. Adventure supplies before event day to follow along with the activities and experiments from home:

Activity Supply List
The Importance of Measuring Snowpack
  • Ice cubes crushed in a blender to form a slush
  • Two small clear cups
  • One cup of water
  • One drinking straw (Bonus points if its reusable!)
Watershed-in-a-Box
  • Shoe box-sized plastic container
  • Couple of sheets of newspaper or other paper that is easily crumpled
  • Spray bottle with water (Optional: blue food coloring)
  • Paper towels for cleanup

Optional:

  • One teaspoon of dried oregano or parsley
  • One teaspoon of coffee grounds
How do You Clean Sewage? Is that Flushable?
  • Toilet paper
  • Flushable wipes
  • Paper towels/Disinfecting wipes
  • Three mason jars with lids or empty, clean, clear pasta sauce jars with lids
  • Water to fill jars
  • Markers to label jars
