In addition to our residential program, there are big opportunities for grass replacement on publicly-owned spaces. Public agencies in the West Basin Municipal Water District service area can now take advantage of the Public Agency Grass Replacement Program, which offers the following increased incentives:
- Rebates starting at $4 per square foot to remove non-essential grass on public property
- Professional design assistance to help envision a new water-saving landscapes
- Rebate application assistance to help secure necessary funding for the project
Eligible projects can range between 250 square feet to 200,000 square feet for a maximum $800,000 rebate value!
