Spring SUPER-CALI-FRUGALISTIC Message Encourages Water Savings in Continuing Drought

In celebration of Earth Day and the spring season, West Basin launched its latest “SUPER-CALI-FRUGALISTIC” artwork. The campaign message remains consistent, with a call to be SUPER-CALI-FRUGALISTIC to “Save Water, Save California” during this unprecedented drought.

With a January to March period that is the driest on record, and the hot summer months on the horizon, West Basin continues to provides resources to support water saving actions today. West Basin offers rebates, classes, free devices and more to encourage a 15% reduction in water use.

For our communities, a 15% reduction means finding ways to decrease water use by 20 gallons per person per day on average. The West Basin service area has successfully demonstrated an ability to save water throughout the decades, and it knows that the service area has what it takes to be SUPER-CALI-FRUGALISTIC.
