Recycled Water

CARSON, Calif. – The West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) today announced its recycled water Pump Station Improvements Project, which will enhance local water supply and sustainability, is now complete. The project, part of the District’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program, demonstrates an investment in critical local infrastructure that helps provide the service area with drought-resilient, recycled water.
CARSON, Calif. – Today the West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) announced the connection of two new recycled water customers in El Segundo, Calif.: Wiseburn High School, home of Da Vinci Communications, Da Vinci Design, and Da Vinci Science; and the AC Hotel, a Marriott hotel located on East Maple Avenue.
CARSON, Calif. –West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) commemorated the connection of the Dominguez Technology Center to the District’s recycled water system today. The industrial park in Carson will use locally-produced, recycled water from West Basin to irrigate the landscape to save over 40 million gallons of drinking water per year.

West Basin is also an industry leader in producing and delivering recycled water for more than 300 sites with 400 connections, and has now achieved a major milestone of producing more than 200 billion gallons of recycled water.
