A Drop in the Bucket Program

A Drop in the Bucket –  School Assembly Program

West Basin’s Board of Directors presents A Drop in the Bucket, offered in partnership with Wildwoods, a free program for 3rd-8th grade teachers in the West Basin service area!  A program instructor will join your school outdoors, where students will participate in fun-filled lessons exploring Southern California’s water resources and learn about practical water conservation methods.

This program can serve up to a full grade level (up to 140 students per visit) for an outdoor, on-campus visit where students will participate in hands on activities to learn more about their community’s water resources. Distance learning through real-time live streaming is also available.

Reservations for the 2022-2023 school year are now open for limited reservation, with assembly sessions available starting March 2023. To reserve a session, please contact West Basin Education Coordinator Janel Ancayan at (310) 660-6253 or JanelA@westbasin.org.
