West Basin Municipal Water District’s Water Bottle Filling Station Grant Program supports local schools, parks, and community organizations in installing water bottle filling stations. The program provides access to clean, refreshing water while reducing single-use plastic waste.
The District awarded eight grants for fill stations in the service area for Fiscal Year 2022-23, totaling close to 100 stations installed since the program launch in 2017.
By promoting reusable water bottles and making hydration easily accessible, we’re encouraging healthier habits and environmental responsibility. Together, we can make a significant impact on reducing plastic pollution and conserving precious resource.
Staring July 1, 2023, an additional $35,000 in grants will be available. Learn more about the program and application process at: www.westbasin.org/fillingstations.
