Water Industry Career Night March 21: Join Us!

On Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 5:30PM to 7PM, the West Basin Municipal Water District and El Camino College will gather major water providers and employers in the South Bay – Los Angeles region at the El Camino College campus.

The educational event aims to connect employers to high schoolers {through partnerships with local schools such as the Environmental Charter Schools network}, college students, and young adults interested in breaking into the industry, identifying career pathways, and getting a snapshot of job openings, training and benefits available.

West Basin is hosting this event because the industry needs a new generation for the water workforce. With an increased number of retirements creating job openings, and billions of dollars being invested in Southern California’s water infrastructure, there is real opportunity to discover a fulfilling career that helps to meet the critical water needs of our communities and environment.
