At the July 2018 board meeting, the West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) Board of Directors voted in support of Proposition 3, the Water Supply and Water Quality Act of 2018. The initiative will be on the November 2018 ballot. If passed, Proposition 3 would authorize $8.877 billion in general obligation bonds to fund projects for water supply, water quality, watershed protection, fish and wildlife habitat, water conveyance, infrastructure repair, and groundwater sustainability and storage.
