CARSON, Calif. – West Basin has announced the hiring of Wendell Johnson, a professional engineer with more than 20 years of experience, to manage the District’s engineering department. Johnson is a California registered civil engineer with extensive experience in managing capital improvement programs and public works departments. He previously served as the Director of Public Works at both the city of Compton and the city of Lomita.
