CARSON, Calif. – Beginning July 1, the West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) will add one dollar to the popular Turf Replacement Program rebate offered by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD). The extra dollar, approved by the West Basin Board of Directors, will increase the total rebate incentive for eligible applicants to $3 or more per square foot of grass removed. The District is also offering a free series of grass replacement classes to encourage residents and businesses of the West Basin service area to apply for the increased rebate.
